Tanner Sheahan

Lead Pastor

Family: I’ve been married to Gayle for over 20 years and we have four kids: Kaed, Maggie, Claire, and Charlie.

Hobbies/Interests: plants and bonsai

Favorite Books: Boy, only 3? Shaped by the Gospel by Timothy Keller, East of Eden by John Steinbeck, Recapturing the Wonder by Mike Cosper.

Heart for the Lord: I love Jesus, my family and the local church, specifically Christ Church. One of my great joys is seeing the gospel take root and change people for the glory of God and their eternal good. I’ve served as a pastor since 2016 and a church planter since 2018 with missional and discipleship efforts in the local church going back over a decade.

Hospitality

Family: Tanner and I have been married for 20+ years and have four fantastic kids. We’ve got two boys and two girls, three are teenagers and the youngest is almost a teenager. They keep us on our toes and I absolutely love being their mom.

Hobbies/Interests: In my spare time I really enjoy family walks with our dog, going for a run, coffee dates with friends, and I love to watch my kids in sports!

Favorite Books:  One of my all time favorites that we have read with our kids over and over is “The Jesus Storybook Bible”. It has such beautifully written truths for kids AND adults, Tanner and I both tear up when we read it with the kids! Also, anything written by Ray or Jani Ortlund is gold!

Heart for the Lord:  I am truly thankful to get to serve with the people of Christ Church. I love to meet new people and to work toward making our space welcoming and comfortable. It is my joy to be part of a team who gets to do that each Sunday! Serving the Lord by serving His church is truly sweet. He is so good!

Adam Lange

Worship Leader

Family: Osa and I got married in August of 2019 and we have our first baby on the way early November 2022.

Hobbies/Interest: Osa and I both like to play a lot of golf when the weather permits. When it doesn’t, I turn to the ever-growing Lego collection

Favorite Books: My favorite books at the moment are Recapturing the Wonder by Mike Cosper, The Great Divorce by C.S. Lewis, and The Stranger by Albert Camus.

Heart for the Lord: I’m a classic case of “grew up in the church, accepted Jesus at 5 because I was afraid of hell, experienced some stuff that made me leave, came back when I heard and believed the gospel”. Even though I accepted Jesus at a very young age, I never really understood what that meant and the very impactful freedom that comes with it until fall of 2017 when the gospel was clearly and truthfully articulated to me. One thing that has never changed since 2005 when I first led some songs at youth group, is my love and gratitude for being able to assist in the facilitation of worship to our Creator.

Corinna Nett

Kid’s Church

Family: My husband Conner and I have been married since 2023 and we have our son Sawyer who is about a year old, our Great Pyrenees Wallowa, and our 7 chickens!

Hobbies/Interests: I love homemaking! Making our home a special place is my favorite thing. I also love baking, going on morning coffee walks, playing pickleball, reading, and all things crafty and DIY.

Favorite Books: My all-time favorite book is Redeeming Love by Francine Rivers. Other amazing books I absolutely love are My Dear Hemlock by Tilly Dillehay, The Women of Easter by Liz Curtis Higgs, and The Practice of the Presence of God by Brother Lawrence.

Heart for the Lord: My upbringing was part Catholic and part atheist. I slowly started developing a faith of my own in late middle school to then dedicating my life to Christ in college. I studied elementary education in college, but I am so blessed to be able to stay home with Sawyer. Therefore, I feel so in my element being a part of Kids Ministry!

Kirsten Ressel

Administrator

Family: It’s just me and my cat Kiki.

Hobbies/Interests: I enjoy cross country skiing (especially skate skiing), going on walks with friends, hiking, board games, and movies.

Favorite Books: I really enjoyed Lee Strobel’s “The Case for Christ”. I have a very scientific mind and I appreciated all the way in which Lee approached some very good and challenging questions regarding Christian faith. The apologetic study was very helpful for me.

Heart for the Lord: I grew up in the church, but really renewed my faith and commitment to God as an adult while I was studying abroad my junior year of college. Since then, my desire to be surrounded by Christians and to be part of a church family has become a priority for me. The last few years I’ve been working on expanding my faith from an intellectual faith, where I was focusing on learning about God, to a practicing one, where I hope to showcase my faith by my actions.
